For this one I used the current sketch from PageMaps Blog. Modified for one 4x6 photo and adjusted to fit an 8x8 format. Another simple page but when you do that many that fast, they have to be pretty simple. But I still thing he will love the album.

20 pages in two nights

This is just one of the 20 pages I did in an 8x8 album for the director of the show at TCTC "Diary of Anne Frank". It's a gift from him. The last two pages will have the group photo and all the cast and crew signed it. It was fast. I just copied a bunch of different sketches and used the exact same bundle of papers throughout which I purchased more than a year ago at the Scrapbook convention. I printed a few of the drama masks and bought one embellie package from Micheal's. For this page I used Sketch #66 from Sketches in Thyme. I moved the title to the top and had to adjust the sketch for the 8x8 size.

My Scraps and More Idol Search!

My scraps and more is having an Idol Search - but you don't have to be able to sing - just scrapbook. Point system, no eliminations! I am a guest designer there for the month and there are lots of fun games and challenges planned. Here is the recap of how it works:

This contest is a music based contest but we don't care how you sing, it is all about the way you scrap!! Each Wednesday in February, starting February 1st, a main challenge will be posted. You will have until the following Tuesday night to get your layout uploaded in the gallery and into the corresponding challenge thread. A random participant will be chosen each week for a great prize! Besides the main challenge, there will also be a mini-challenge posted on Fridays and a games posted each week as well. All challenges and games will have a point value to them, so the more you participate, the more points you will earn. Make sure that you keep track of your completed challenges and games in the challenge tracker please. This will really help the design team keep track of points earned! The person at the end of the contest with the most points will be our Idol winner!! The last challenge will be due February 28! Are you ready?? It is going to be such fun!!

A card for my sweet sister. I thought it would be fun to harrass her and cheer for Denver against her Patriots team. So I bet her $20 Denver would win. Well it didn't turn out so great. Denver lost 45 - 10 so I didn't get to pick on her at all and then I had to send her the money so I made this card to send to her. Hopefully she will get it before she sees this post. I used the card patterns sketch #148 below. I hope she spend Mr. Jackson wisely!

Follow along in the My Scraps and More blog hop to get the recipe of ingredients that are needed to use on a layout for a chance to win. I did the blog hop, got the list and made this layout of Gracie on Christmas day - near the end of the day. She was 2 darn tired! But she felt great while I was creating this page and she pulled off lots of the circle stickers and helped me put them on the page (that's why there are so many on there!) I also used some brand new papers, chipboard, stickers and embellishments I got from Momenta as a prize. Such cute colors. I am entering this in the challenge at Wee Memories, 4 crafty chicks and Frosted Design to use something new.

Holiday in the Park Six Flags

This layout includes photos from last Decembers trip with family and friends and Gracie's first time to go to Six Flags holiday in the park. I got a bunch of free tickets from KNUE and several of us went. I used bubble wrap and paint to stamp the background and used a new stamp set for the tags and all the other stamping which is for the weekend warm up challenge #18 at Scrapfit. I am also entering it in the Studio Challenge blog Oct 16th challenge to create a unique background with mists or paints.

These are fun photos from our day at our house last Thanksgiving. I used an old page kit from a swap that I had been waiting for the perfect photos. Just added leaves and cardstock. The layout is entered into the Bird is the Word October challenge to use the word Together in the title/journaling. I used it in the hidden journaling and on the journal box. It is also for challenge #41 at Cropstop Challenge blog to do falling leaves layout.

I did this card for the challenge at Card patterns using their sketch #136. Easy sketch to use! And I did a paper piecing for the hat for the challenge at Cooking up Creations to use a paper piecing and for the challenge at Creative card crew to do something Halloween. I also did it for the challenge at Scrapalicious to do a black, orange and purple card. My card is indeed purple even though it looks blue in the photo (weird). Same goes for the challenge at Scrappin chics to use green and purple.

I made this cheerful little card using the Sassy Send off sketch #8. Changed it up by making the center block a rectangle instead of a square and moving the sentiment to the bottom. It is also for Scrapfit WWU #16 to use bright and bold colors.
