I'm entering a contest at http://www.savvynsassy.com/ Challenge #2 was to create a 9"x4" card with ribbon and chipboard. It could be any theme. I decided on a birthday card because I'm always needing those. I used 6 different ribbons, Making Memories Jigsaw Alphabets philadephia upper case letter chipboard that I painted white, alphabet stickers, buttons, micro brads, green vellum and white embrodrey floss. To make the card, cut a 12x12 sheet of cardstock down to 9"x8". Fold 2" in on both sides to make the card open from the middle. Cut ribbons about 2 1/2", fold it over and staple to the left of the top fold and the right of the bottom fold. Cut another 2 pieces of ribbon 9 1/2" long and adhere it over the staples. Paint the chipboard and clue down. Add letter stickers and vellum circles and dots. Put the buttons on with the micro brads and wrap the embrodrey floss to close the card. Inside can be any saying you want or just leave blank for a hand written note. Hope you all will give it a try. If you do, post a link so I can see it.
