Cards and a layout

I made a dozen Valentine Cards to donate to our local Christian Radio station KVNE for the KVNE Valentines for KIDZ. They are going to take the cards to our local hospitals. Jeannie had given me a bottle of these little flowers and I went to town using them

.

I did this layout for Amanda's JUST BE January Challenge on SNS and the ABC challenge for B using Basic Grey Paper and BG letter stickers, Hang 10. Used Huge Chestnut Ric Rac #262 from SNS and Mini Chestnut Ric Rac #0022 from SNS. Prima flowers and a vellum quote from a vellum stack. The photos from the restaurant turned out really orange so this paper helped them out a bit. I really wanted to use the photos even though the color in them is bad. Basic grey is always hard to use but I like this.

Love the basic grey here....and great job on the cards...quite a job! But sounds like a neat outreach.

Isn't Basic Grey great? I find it hard to use sometimes too though. Nice job!

Your cards are so sweet - perfect for the kids. I like your layout. I, too, have a hard time with BG papers but I really like them. Great use of the slide mount - I have a stash of them that I need to use. Might have to borrow your embellishment idea.
