Couple layouts

I did these two layouts and thought the quote was pretty cool on the running shoes layout. The bookworm challenge is from a race I did back in 2006. I ran a slow recovery run Sunday 3 miles, Monday I biked 45 minutes for 10 miles, Tuesday I went to run with a friend, 5 miles in 53 minutes and Wednesday I went to the gym and did abs and weights and rode the bike for 18 minutes. Now to figure out whether I should do the half in December or try to work up to a full marathon by then!

If it was me do the 1/2 due to time, most plans take 20 weeks from what I find for the full. Maybe look for the full this Spring. If you are up to the full in December, and do it I will be watch and learning from you. I want to be able to do one in my lifetime.

I did several half-marys before I ran my first full marathon, and glad I worked my way up to the distance as 26.2 miles can be brutal for your first time.
