Marci and Wyatt (isn't he just the cutest!) came up
Thursday evening and stayed till Sunday. We
had a great visit. That is the best darn baby I've ever seen, happy 99% of the time!! I bought him the Basic Training outfit. She is so lucky. We went to the zoo with Patsy, Alicia and Brianna and it was the best day for that. Perfect weather. I got up Saturday morning before the zoo and ran 4 miles. Got a shin splint so didn't go further. We went to Timothy's x/c meet wherein he bombed! 19:25 on a course he did under 18 minutes last year; 48th place when he is normally in top 15. So now he's going to get serious training again before district meet so Sunday night we went and ran lily road with is ALL hills. I did 6 miles and he did 7 total in 1 hour 4 minutes. It was hard but a very good workout. It was just a wonderful weekend. We bought a new tractor as the old one went "kabut" and died. Zero interest for 5 years financing on a New Holland (Ford) tractor. Gary spent all afternoon mowing - his therapy. It works wonderfully and we didn't have to dump $25 worth of oil in it! yahoo! One more layout I finished up for the
SNS crop. I won 5 yards of ribbon and another little goodie bag. And a digital layout I did for a
peekintoyesterday's digital crop challenge.

I hope your shins feel better soon! Sorry to hear about Timothy bombing...well if we didn't have low points we couldn't enjoy the high points so much! Hill works are excellent strength training, something I should do more.
I really enjoyed "Run, Fat Boy, Run," as I could relate to his funny misfortunes of training for a marathon! I actually became a little teary eyed with the ending. RENT IT!!!!
Wow...I LOVE your scrapbook pages!!! I am at least a year behind on my kid's books and my pages are not nearly as fancy. :)

Laurie, the first one for Halloween is digital. The other is paper.
