The Let's Scrap around the world Blog Hop!

(This Post will stay on top of my blog for the entire month of Feb, scroll down for current posts!)
Hi ya’ll and welcome to your next stop in the Let’s Scrap Blog Hop!
If you came here from Judy Rakes then you are in the right place! If you did not, Mindi Brown @ http://scrapchat-n-coffeetalk.blogspot.com/ has the complete hop order to help you find your way.

I am so excited to be a blog host for such a fun and huge blog hop! There are 50 stops along the way! Yes, that’s huge but you will be inspired and amazed at all the different cards.

Here is the sketch I am showcasing for the hop - the card sketch from Let’s scrap dated 12-23-09

And here is the card I made!  I used some brand new Cosmo Cricket papers that I just received for my Guest Design spot for this month at My Scraps and More.  www.myscrapsandmore.com

I will be giving away a prize for your participation. It will be some Maya Road Chipboard, some Ormolu negative numbers tags and a package of Remarks fabric border stickers (and I will probably throw in some ribbon and who knows what else!!)

Here is how easy it is to enter for my random draw for my prize.
1. *Be or become a member of Let’s Scrap which you can do by clicking here http://letsscrap.ning.com/ . It is free, easy and fast! Once you get there, I am sure you will love it! I certainly do. They have great sketches and what I like is that most of them have multiple photos, which is what I mostly scrap. They also have weekly challenges that are great!
2. *Become a follower of my blog
3. *Leave me a comment telling me what you like about this week’s sketch at Let’s scrap and that you have become a member of Let’s Scrap and a follower on my blog.

And if you would like a second chance in the draw
1. *Make a card from the sketch I have posted (or make a layout using the card sketch!) and upload it to the gallery at Let’s Scrap. Please tag it as such 12-23-09, LEAP11 (Please note there is a space after the comma and there is not a space between the word leap and number 11 and that LEAP is all capitals. This is important for the search features at Let’s scrap. It’s really quite easy once you’ve done it a while. Also, if you want other examples using any sketch, just type the sketch date into the search box on the gallery and it will pull up all the cards tagged that way.)
2. *Leave a comment with a link to your card on Let’s Scrap.

The hop ends at 11:59 pm Central Standard time February 29th, which you would be able to track using the clock on the main page of Let’s Scrap.

Winner’s will be announced on March 3rd on the Let’s Scrap blog with a follow-up here on my blog.
Thanks for visiting and have fun hopping! Your next stop will be the talented Wilna Cremer. You can find her blog @ http://scrappinpreciousmoments.blogspot.com/ .

If you get lost along the way or have joined the hop in the middle, Mindi Brown @ http://scrapchat-n-coffeetalk.blogspot.com/ is the beginning of the hop. You don’t want to miss any of the fun!

Well, I am certainly a member of Let's Scrap LOL I only used the left side of this weeks sketch, as I thought it was a great way to showcase the one photo I wanted to highlight.
Thanks for hosting

Hi, Sherri, have been a follower for quite some time! For this week's sketch, I used only the left side because I only had a single photo. Glad we have that option! You picked a great card sketch for the hop, and have created a great card! Yummy prizes up for grabs here, I can see! Thanks!

Thank you so much for hosting the Let's Scrap blog hop. I'm a new follower and I guess if I'm one of it's owners I better be a member of Let's Scrap LOL.
I like this weeks sketch because it uses lots of horizontal photo's which I seem to have a lot more of then vertical ones.

I am a member of Let's Scrap and now your blog! I haven't done a LS sketch in a while, but I love that they have double-page, multi-photo sketches, I'm actually hoping to do this one this week!

I am a new follower of your blog and a long time member at Let's Scrap. Thanks for hosting a stop on the hop. I was intrigued by your blog name, I was a quilter before I was a scrapbooker, but I have never been a runner LOL. I like the large area in this weeks sketch that allows for a big diecut or other large embellishment.

I have become a follower of both blogs and I love the sketch on the Let's Scrap site. I like that they used several pictures in the sketch. janiceaeschliman.blogspot.com

Hi Sherri. This is my first time visit here. I have become a Follower and am already a member of Lets Scrap. I love your creations and your take on the sketch for the blog hop is gorgeous. And of course the candy is oh so yummy. This week's sketch at Lets Scrap gives one the opportunity to showcase quite a few large photos - I love creating double pages with loads of photos. Would love to see you as a Follower over at www.desiref.blogspot.com

Such an adorable card! I've been a member of LS, and I've joined your blog =) What I like about this week's LS sketch is really the same every week...that I can use it as a double or single LO =)

Hi Sherri. Thanks for making this a great blog hop. You card looks terrific. I have been a member of LS for some time now and love the multiple photos sketches - this weeks is great because you can use 5 6x4's but I also like it because if I want I can use it as a one pager ... love the layers around the single photo.

I am fairly new to LS - the sketch inspires me to get cracking! Although the card hopping seems to be calling my creativity more!
