i have had these photos for a long time. Not sure why it has taken me so long to scrap them. They are from my first half marathon in Dallas in 2007. The Scrap yourself challenge was just the inspiration I needed to pull out the photos and get them scraped. The challenge was to use words from the Mariah Carey song "Hero" and use a photo of yourself. I don't consider myself a hero but I used the words "strength to carry on" and "be strong" from the song. My journaling was typed up a long time with the details of the race and how I felt and met my goal time. It will be inserted between the two pages in my album.
